Die Tagfahrlichte für Smart Fortwo (ab 04/07 bis 02/12) haben integriertes Modul für Tagfahr- und Standlicht-Schaltung, dimmen bei Abblendlicht auf Standlicht-Helligkeit zurück, so dass in der Nacht nicht die andere Fahrer blenden. Die Tagfahrlichte haben 18 extrem langlebige LED mit sehr hoher Leuchtkraft und geringer Stromverbrauch. Die sind zulässig im Bereich der STVZO, mit R87 Zulassung als Tagfahrlicht und E-Prüfzeichen als Standlicht. Die Installation ist einfach und erfordert keine speziellen Kenntnisse oder Werkstattbesuch für Einstellung.
